It is disheartening to listen to pessimists who say Africa has a leadership crisis. Africa is motherland of leadership however the pessimists are mainly blind to this fact because a colonial mindset has placed blinkers on their eyes concerning everything African.
Former Burkinabe president Thomas Sankara was a leader in his own right in the ranks of the greatest world leaders ever.
Kwame Nkrumah was a great leader too. Elections, Democracy the way former colonial masters want it is the reason why leaders like Kwame Nkrumah and Thomas Sankara are seen as having been nothing but undesirable dictators, and yet so many positive things where initiated under their able leadership.
Kwame Nkrumah initiated the construction of the mighty Akosombo dam. In many instances if not all the west has been responsible for the demise of our best African leaders.
